SHEFFIELD, Iowa — October 19, 2007 — Latham Hybrids announces the addition of agribusiness veteran Jeff Weier of Denison to its growing ranks of district sales managers (DSM).  He will serve farmers in Audubon, Crawford, Carroll, Harrison, Monona and Shelby Counties.

Weier has nearly three decades of experience in the agribusiness industry. After graduating in 1979 from North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) in Mason City with an associate’s degree in Ag Business, he joined the Farmers Co-op in Dows. He also served as branch and agronomy managers for Farmers Cooperative in Grundy Center and for FC in Perry.

Most recently, Weier served as an agronomist for FAC in Westside for nearly eight years. He consulted with farmers and provided services related to GPS, soil sampling, nutrient management, as well as crop and input recommendations.
